A project for Men's File Magazine based on the life and teachings of 'Horse Whisperer' Monty Roberts. This project specifically looks at his 'Join Up Method', a way of training horses without physical discipline, but the language he calls 'Equus'. This language is spoken by horses in the wild to discipline within their herds in which a misbehaving horse is driven out of a herd by the dominant mare and only invited back in when the horse locks it's ear onto the mare, licks and chews and lowers it's head. This is the horses way of apologising. Robert's methods uses this language to train horses as he drives a horse away and waits for the same signals to show that the horse wants to 'join up' with him.
